| Kanter questing in Midnight |
Early November and wanted to record a quick summary of my gaming in September and October. I managed to finish the Midnight initial campaign quest line in October, about 7 months after the release date and reach level 90 just before completing quest line. Now World of Warcraft Forever will be release in just a few days and we will see how much time I spend with Midnight before then and how much time I spend in Forever. I considered buying to reserve my name and get access to the Skyborne but decided since there will be a first and last name for every character the odds mine would be taken is small and I know I will want to play my standard Dwarf Hunter first so I can wait to get the Skyborne when it inevitably goes on sale.
I also bought Mosaic of the Strange by the Divide the Plunder, the company that made Logic Town when it was on sale. I have continued to play Logic Town most days and I was compelled to finish Mosaic of the Strange over a few days vacation. Mosaic of the Strange gameplay (along with the other Mosaic games by the same publisher) is sort of like Minesweeper that comes with Windows. In this game, as you complete games, you learn more about a bizarre murder and different strange events that have been recorded over time. Fun, with a good amount of game play (42 hours for me to complete the campaign) but you have to like to minesweeper like puzzles and some of them are pretty long. I found myself playing for more than I probably should have.
The big event in November will be WoW Forever, so we will see how I see that. If you look back at the origin of this blog, trying to find an MMO you can play casually for a long time, it seems like a good match.
